Smoked green bean casserole recipe

A flavorful blend of green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and cheddar, this smoked green bean casserole is the perfect side dish for your next holiday!

  • 3 14.5 oz cans of green beans 
  • 1 10.5 oz  can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 6 oz container of French’s original crispy fried onions 
  • 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese 
  • 1 tablespoon of an all purpose bbq rub 
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • 1/2 cup of milk


  1. Combine canned green beans, cream of mushroom, milk, 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, soy sauce and bbq rub in an 8×11 pan and mix well together. 
  2. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and smoke or bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  3. After 30 minutes top with French’s original crispy fried onions until casserole is completely covered and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Let casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
