How to make jalapeño popper burgers

This juicy burger is topped with everything from a traditional jalapeño popper like cream cheese, jalapeños, cheddar cheese and crispy bacon.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

  • 4 quarter pound hamburger patties
  • 4 pieces of crispy diced bacon (thick cut)
  • 4 Brioche buns
  • 2 fresh jalapenos sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 block of cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Tex Mex seasoning

Garlic and lime mayo

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon roasted garlic paste
  • Juice of half a lime

  1. Dice 4 pieces of thick cut bacon and cook in a pan on medium heat until crispy. Set on a plate with paper towels to drain excess grease.
  2. Make garlic and lime mayo by combining mayonnaise, roasted garlic paste and lime juice together. Set aside until you assemble the burger later.
  3. Season burger patties with Tex Mex seasoning and grill on medium high heat.
  4. Once the burgers reach an internal temperature of 140°F add toppings to each burger including 2 slices of cream cheese, a handful of cheddar cheese, 4 sliced jalapeños and crispy bacon.
  5. Remove burgers from the grill once they reach an internal temperature of 150°F. Then toast your brioche buns on the grill for a minute.
  6. Add garlic and lime mayo to the toasted buns and then the jalapeño popper burger in-between.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
