Easy French Dip Sliders with Au Jus

Fall in love with these satisfying French dip sliders made with juicy roast beef, melted provolone, fried onions, and au jus for dipping!

For Sliders: 

  • 1 package of Kings Hawaiian original sweet rolls
  • 1 lb sliced roast beef
  • 1/2 cup French’s crispy fried onions
  • 12 slices provolone cheese 
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese 

For Au Jus:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Au Jus powder mix 
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder 
  • 1/4 cup of water 


  1. If making the Au Jus, mix all ingredients for it together in a small bowl until all of the seasoning has dissolved. 
  2. Remove the top portion of your rolls and to the bottom rolls add 6 slices of provolone cheese, then top with two layers of roast beef, crispy fried onions and the remaining 6 slices of provolone cheese. 
  3. Place the top rolls back on and brush on your Au Jus, reserving some of it for dipping. I also sprinkle  Parmesan Cheese on top of the buns. 
  4. To finish, place the sliders into your oven or smoker at 350°F for 15 minutes until the cheese has melted through and the top of the buns are nice and toasted. 
  5. Cut into individual sliders and serve with extra Au Jus for dipping.
